Compact Entry-Level Computer with LGA1700 Socket

The E420 Embedded System from ICP Deutschland brings out the Swabian in you. Industrially designed and yet affordable at only 10 cents per cubic centimeter. The E420 Embedded System is equipped with the H610 chipset and supports the 12th and 13th generation of Intel Core I processors. From the Celeron entry-level class to the Core i9, all Alder Lake and Raptor Lake with a TDP of 35 watts can be used. Two DDR5 SO-DIMM sockets accommodate up to 64GB of RAM. For connecting monitors, the system offers an HDMI and a DisplayPort connection. The Intel UHD graphics provide a maximum resolution of 4K. For expansions, there is an M.2 2230 and an M.2 3042 slot available. Storage media can be installed in the E420’s 2.5" slot or the also available M.2 2280 NVME SSD slot. Furthermore, the E420 offers a GbE and a 2.5GbE port, two USB 2.0, four USB 3.2 ports, 8-bit GPIO, one RS-232/422/485, and one RS-232 interface. The E420 can be operated fanless in a temperature range from -20°C to 50°C with an input voltage of 12V.

ICP Deutschland offers the E420 as another embedded system, which is prepared for use as an inference system. The E420 can be expanded with a Hailo-8 AI IC. With the Hailo-8 expansion, the E420 is capable of performing inference directly at the edge. Data can be processed and evaluated directly at the machine, and decisions can be made in "real-time" without resorting to the cloud. If desired, ICP Deutschland delivers the E420 as a ready-to-use system with suitable industrial memory modules and solid-state disks.
